UNITED KINGDOM
My Experience
My visits to the United Kingdom have been filled with history, iconic landmarks, and memorable experiences. I've visited London twice, exploring Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London while also experiencing another side of the city through Abbey Road, West End plays and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour.
Beyond London, I've visited Bath and Stonehenge, deepening my appreciation for England's history. Edinburgh was a highlight, especially its gothic architecture and walkability. I also explored the Scottish Highlands, where the dramatic landscapes gave me a completely different perspective on the UK. There is still so much more of the United Kingdom I'd like to experience, and that's one of the reasons I know I'll be back.

Know Before You Go
1 ) Drive on the left
If you rent a car, remember that traffic travels on the left side of the road.
2 ) Contactless payments are the norm
Tap to pay is widely accepted, including on buses, trains, taxis, restaurants and small businesses.
3 ) Many museums are free
Several of London’s top museums offer free general admission, making them an excellent option for budget-conscious travelers.
4 ) Pack layers and a rain jacket
Conditions can change quickly, even during summer, so bring layers and a lightweight rain jacket.
5 ) Look both ways before crossing
Traffic may approach from a different direction than you expect. At many busy intersections, "Look Right" or "Look Left" is painted clearly on the pavement.
